Dedicated to the advancement of psychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare.

The New England Psychological Association (NEPA) was incorporated in 1963 and is a regional association for psychological science. NEPA partners with the Northeastern Conference for the Teaching of Psychology (NECTOP).

Coming together to share ideas and best practices.

NEPA is dedicated to the advancement of psychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare.

NEPA in partnership with NECTOP hosts an annual meeting each fall that includes invited addresses, symposia, workshops, papers, and posters on the topics of psychological science research and teaching.

Our primary purpose is to bring those interested in psychological science and the teaching of psychology together annually with an annual conference that focuses on empirical research in psychological science as well as best practices and innovations in teaching.
